Literature of Tamil Language has also given more or less identical success-rate despite less number of candidates opting it as one optional subject (CSE 2010-129, CSE 2009- 196).
Among these subjects, Anthropology has been a consistent performer and has constantly given very good success-rate in recent years.

Although, the success-rate is lower comparing CSE 2009 for optional subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Agriculture; still, some encouraging trend is visible. However, Mathematics has shown some improvement in success-rate.
It has been little conflicting trend in recent results, but, surely there are signs of some reversal in fortune and following results should reflect improved trends.
